Who are we ?
The 15th G.I.C. is being held in the United Kingdom, organized by a group of dedicated volunteers from the IBF membership.

Hi, I am Natalia Brown, GIC Organiser, and I am delighted to be entrusted with hosting the 15th Global Inspiration Conference here in the UK. I have worked as a Rebirther and Rebirthing Practitioner Trainer for eight years and this year my energies will be focused full time on being a Mother to our beautiful baby girl Iris, and organising the conference. I have had a vision to organise a major Breathwork event in the UK for a number of years, and the Global Inspiration Conference is the perfect opportunity for me to fulfil my dream. In the last six months we have grown a wonderful team to help plan and deliver the conference, which is developing into an inspiring event. We look forward to meeting old friends and new at our beautiful venue in July.

Hi, I am Peter Brown, the Planning and Coordination Manager on the UK GIC team. In addition to my healing skills as a Rebirther, Reiki practitioner, NLP coach and Hypnotherapist I work full time as a Management Consultant, which I am happy to say has provided me with the skills and abilities needed to ground a well-organised and creative conference. I am delighted to say that Natalia and I were Handfasted last year in an ancient wedding ceremony in a stone circle in Oxfordshire. We have also been privileged to welcome our daughter Iris into the world in November, so family life has been very exciting lately! I am very proud of the country we live in, and I anticipate sharing the gifts it has to offer with you all in July. This includes a rich heritage of Celtic traditions and ceremonial sites of interest – as well as a diverse range of Breathwork talent, and people working at the forefront of their fields. See you at the conference !
Hi, I'm Mark Conrad and I am taking responsibility for the finances of the UK GIC. In my working life I own and manage a holistic health business. Having experienced the benefits of breathwork as a therapy, I learnt of the GIC in 2005. By inspired chance, the Canada GIC was one week before my cousin’s wedding, also in Canada: my first planned visit in ten years. Sensing fate at work I signed up. I’m very glad that I did. Having attended the last two GICs, I can say that they were some of the most memorable and moving weeks of the last two years for me. For that reason I am excited to be playing a role in organising the UK event and to give something back to the IBF. --- I am personally committed to making the UK GIC an inspiring and profitable event for the IBF and for everyone involved – see you there.
Hello there, I'm Sarah Faulkner, a rebirther and creative being who loves working with the breath and transformational processes. This year I am involved with the GIC for the first time, volunteering my support on the creative side of the event and co-ordination of the spiritual sites tours. My passion for creative expression and a love of the Sacred Isle is being reawakened through my GIC involvement! As strongly as I love the breath I am also passionatley moved by transformational theatre and the joy of dancing. I have been so inspired by the experience of the great many joyous connections I have given and received through breathwork; I feel enthused by the coming together of breath and light workers in this country. I trust the GIC 2008 brings expansion of consciousness, community, love, trust and truth. Ho!

Hi, I'm Brigitte Martin Powell, a Rebirther and Rebirthing Trainer in the UK. For me, having the Global Inspiration Conference in the UK is a dream come true. I am originally from Switzerland but I've lived on different continents before settling in the UK, in Devon with Alan, my husband, and Zoe our 15 year old daughter. The world and the breath are my passions, so what a better place to be then around the International Breathwork Foundation. I am presently its treasurer and a member of the GIC08 team.

Hello. I'm Robert Moore. I've been an assistant at a few past GICs, my first being in Spain in 1999 where I found myself the GIC dj. As well as being editor of Breathe Magazine*, for the last 20 something years, I also have run, in south Devon where I live, regular dances, known as "dance-at..." for the last 10 years which is where I learned to dj. One of the highlights for me of these Global Inspiration Conferences, is the evening discos and especially the last evening with it's wonderful 'variety show' and dancing 'til the early hours; having such an international group of people, who after a week of breathing, come together to celebrate is such a delight. Through attending the GIC's I've gained friends across the world in countries I've never been to. It's been such a thrill to meet so many other people touched by using the breath.

*Breathe Magazine is an worldwide independent breathwork publication, sent to all IBF members as part of their membership package.
