The
annual Global Inspiration Conference is a week-long celebration of Conscious
Breathwork*. It is held in a different country each year in a venue with
picturesque natural surroundings. This year it is set in the beautiful
countryside of the United Kingdom, on the border between England and Wales
near the town of Hay-on Wye. The GIC features a wide range of the best
breathwork professionals from around the World – as well as a hottub for
breathwork sessions; sweatlodge; swimming pool – and traditional live
music and theatre from the British Isles.

At
the GIC you will find workshops, lectures, social events, sharing of best
practice, dancing, good food, good company and lots of fun. It’s a wonderful
opportunity for personal and professional growth, as well as making friends
and valuable connections. The Global Inspiration Conference is a truly
inspirational event. To reflect this, part of the daily programme is fixed
in advance while the rest is left open and is scheduled on a daily basis
during the week. The open programme includes all proposals put forward
by participants at the conference for presentations, workshops, discussion
topics and other activities related to the conference theme. All of these
activities are offered in a spirit of peer-group exchange and inspiration.
The
GIC offers the possibility to all people devoted to Breathwork to creatively
participate in a global activity which promotes and honours the breath
as a transformational tool. It is a wonderful opportunity to exchange
views, teach, learn and receive inspiration from like-minded friends and
colleagues. This year celebrates the 15th GIC conference –and the first
time in the U.K. If you are interested in joining us at GIC for some inspiration,
fun, learning and personal growth, then read on! There will be regular
updates to the website in the run up to the GIC in July, including information
on remaining accommodation availability. We look forward to hearing from

*Information
on Conscious Breathwork –The Spirit of the International Breathwork Foundation
(IBF)
When
used in specific ways, breathing allows us to release and resolve emotions,
belief systems, stresses and memories which are often inaccessible through
the more conventional talking therapies. Breathing, beyond the basic need
for survival, acts as a bridge between spirit, mind, and body; a bridge
between the conscious and the subconscious. "Conscious Breathing" is one
of the quickest ways to open our hearts to love and inner peace, and to
fill our bodies with life and health. Connecting the inhale with the exhale
consciously and continuously, is one of the most effective ways of connecting
us to ourselves, to each other, and all of us to Nature and existence.
Conscious Breathing allows us to go into the deepest realities of life,
to acknowledge our life processes, and to set the ground for personal
transformation while reaching the highest states of consciousness.
“Breathwork” involves the study and practice of breath awareness and conscious
breathing for spirit, mind, and body. Breathworkers use the Breath and
Breathing Techniques as tools for health, growth, therapy, and change.
Breath Mastery can be used to enhance and accelerate human development
and learning on all levels. Breathwork and Breathing Techniques are now
being taught all over the world.
What
is the International Breathwork Foundation (IBF) ?
The
International
Breathwork Foundation is a world-wide network of people from different
traditions and professions who are inspired by and interested in the practice
of Conscious Breathing and Breathwork. We come together to share and celebrate
our love of the breath. The IBF warmly welcomes everyone who is interested
in breathing as a tool for mental, physical, emotional and spiritual well-being.
The IBF's purpose is to promote a heart-centred approach to Conscious
Breathing and Breathwork, its theory and practice.
